Product Details

Each crate is constructed using the rotational molding process and from high-grade Polyethylene, which forms a single-shell product that will flex slightly, but also resistant to surface abrasions and extreme impacts. This is the very same process used to make US military-strength cargo containers and heavy-duty fuel cells; so you can rest assured it will hold up to anything you and your dog through at it.

The crate has a built-in large grip handle on top that makes lifting and maneuvering the G3 crate incredibly easy. The walls are tough and rugged, able to absorb impacts while the corners remain virtually impervious to crushing, cracking and other damage. These crates can also be stacked to save room in indoor areas with a separately sold stacking kit. This is ideal if space is limited and you have multiple dogs.

The interior of the crate is deep and wide making it a good fit for nearly any size dog (or other similar-sized animals). The G3 kennels are built and sized to fit the rear interior of most trucks, SUVs and hatchbacks (that are 48 inches wide or more) sitting side-by-side. If your dog happens to have an "accident," the one-piece design prevents your car from getting messy but is easily rinsed when you are ready. The small, rear-facing holes allow for easy cleaning and drainage. There is also plenty of air circulation with 16 holes (Medium size) and 20 holes (Large and XL). Getting in and out of the crate is never a problem thanks to the double-hinged door, which can swing from right or left and can be completely removed with ease from the outside.

The G3 glides more easily across surfaces. This is ideal if you don't require the crate to be raised and prefer the sliding action. By running straps through the top handle hole, the G3s can be locked in for a permanent stay in the back of virtually any vehicle.

Dakota 283 products are supplied with a 1-year limited manufacturer’s warranty on parts and labor. Good Ideas Inc. warrants to the original purchaser that its products shall be free from manufacturing non-conformances that affect product performance for one (1) year after the date of delivery. Good Ideas Inc.’s obligation under this warranty is expressly limited to supplying replacement parts and labor for or replacing, at its option, any product that is, in the sole discretion of Good Ideas, Inc. found to be defective.
